Welcome to Common Threads

Hello and welcome to my newest endeavour, Common Threads, where I hope to be able to share my love of sewing and embroidery with you.

Rather than a monthly newsletter with a few hints and tips, I plan on posting a new tip or hint on embroidery, embroidery and sewing projects, or Embird as well as tips to make your computing life a more friendly experience. And if that isn’t enough, I will also be posting tips on just something I find very interesting or helpful .

There will be a new post once a week, usually on a Friday morning but if I find something that just can’t wait until Friday, I may post more often than that.

Life can sometimes be so busy we forget to enjoy it. My daughter found a quote the other day from the late Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette:

“What a wonderful life I’ve had – I only wish I had realized it sooner”

It does make you stop and think, doesn’t it? Enjoy today, reflect on the past, but always look forward to new and exciting adventures in life, you never know what will be waiting around the corner.
