Embroidered Notebook Cover

This notebook cover is quick and easy to make, showcasing your favourite embroidery designs on the front of the notebook cover. It looks so good and so complicated, but in reality sews up very quickly.
Using different fabrics, different embroidery designs and adding some decorative stitches on your sewing machine, you will have a notebook cover for any special occasion. The instructions allow you to make a notebook cover to fit any size notebook.
Notebook covers are fun to make, no matter your age. During a recent Spring Break from school my grandchildren made their own photo album covers as depicted below.

The red photo album (above) used one of the Fancy Cats from Lorelei Designs along with a frame from one of the Embroidery Library Floral Cameo designs. The border around the photo album was a Brother border design.
The blue photo album (below) used the Las Vegas frame design from Embroidery Library, which was edited to change it to a design that had an applique centre section where we could add the text “Sam’s pics” to the design. They each designed their own cover and chose their own threads, even becoming very adept at changing threads at the embroidery machine.

Note: There are no embroidery designs included in this project.
