Computer Tip – Windows Explorer Replacement

Windows Explorer is something that most of us use on a daily basis.   I have found that the one thing I really dislike about Windows Explorer is that there are only two panes to work with.  Several years ago I found a replacement for Windows Explorer that I honestly think is the best thing since sliced bread!   It is Windows Explorer Lite and, best of all, it is free!   This is one of those little programs that you don’t hear about but when you do download and install it, you wonder how you ever managed without it!    As they say on their web site, “don’t knock it until you try it”, and I really have to agree with them.   So be sure to wander over to their web site and check it out.   You definitely will want to give this program a try.   

After installing the program, just add a shortcut to your desktop and you will be able to access it easily.  The only downside to the program  – and it is a minor downside – is that you cannot go directly to Explorer Lite from Embird, but that is not enough to make me stop using this program!
